Are you planning on holding on to it for awhile?

Ideally after I pay it off I get a more practical car and keep this for fun. Hopefully I have for it a long time.

Had to google Desitin, so Prep H.

Your Miata covered 80% of the mileage my 12-year old Solstice has currently, lol. I think I should drive more.

I should also drive less, but such is life. Also why I’m happy I went with something newer and Japanese, thing thing is going to rack up the miles.

Wow!

Is there anything you would change about it?

Favorite thing about the car?
Most annoying thing about the car?
Weirdest quirk or feature?

How are the suspension bits holding up on our shit roads.

Pretty. ND design has only grown on me over time. I think it’s going to be seriously sought after classic one day.
Any complaints you’ve noticed over those 20k?

The all black interior bugs me. But you have no other choice if you want the Club trim with the LSD. Until next year where they actually give you some options.
(tan is only in the GT model)

That top goes up or down in 2 seconds.
Packing for weekends away with the GF. She uses a carry on, I use a soft bag and thats about all it fits.
Touch screen only works when not moving.

Okay for now, though I feel guilty hitting pot holes every damn day. They can’t fix Mound road soon enough.

Actually hard to think of a complaint, so thats a good sign.
I wouldn’t complain if I had the 2 layer top the GT’s get.

Well at the same time I’ve seen Solstices on the forums with double the mileage I have, and they seem to be running just fine.

I actually had a bad test drive with a Solstice GXP. Got in and the arm rest was tore up and the cupholders were broken. Then started to drive it and the CEL came on and it was miss firing :|
Im sure most are fine though because its GM parts bin and I mean that in a good way.

How stiff is the ride compared to say a newish WRX?
I’ve been stalking the used ND market for a while now...

Yeah, I think I remember you telling me that, lol.
But yes, being a parts bin car is a great thing. I love going through RockAuto and seeing how cheap my parts are.

I have never been in a new WRX, or any Impreza thats not over 10 years old to be honest. So I’m not sure! The Club is stiffer than a regular Miata but its not too bad, I live in Detroit and DD-able.
Got mine for $22k with 11k miles and am really happy I did.

Just saw this post, but this car (2019 version technically) is at the top of my next DD list.
My question is: how loud is it on the highway? I know it’s not going to be quiet, but is it annoying after a couple hours? I’m used to a 97 mustang that requires you to at least sort of raise your voice to talk to a passenger, and it’s fine. I’ve seen sound level tests, but it’s hard to really compare numbers on a page to actual experience. And since I do 500 miles of driving almost every week, comfort is definitely a concern.
